Instructors are encouraged to enroll in NCCP multisport training courses for their context. These courses are designed to support instructors in their practice and inform candidates about the standards expected for coaching in Canada.

Cheval Québec organizes an education cohort for instructors once a year. This cohort is designed to assist instructors in their development through dynamic workshops and discussions between learning faciltators and participants

Before registering for instructor evaluations, you must meet the eligibility requirements

This means that you must

• Be 16 years of age or older
• Be a member in good standing of Cheval Québec
• Complete your application online
• Hold an Equestrian Canada sport license
• Hold the final Certificate from the Learn to Drive program
• Hold registered or licensed status under the Equestrian Canada Coach Status Program
• Submit a criminal background check certificate dated within the last 3 years
• Provide a Level C Standard First Aid training certificate (conditions apply for recognized training courses).

• Your lesson plans (assigned topics)
• Your emergency action plan
• Your Teaching Evaluation t

**Please note that you cannot register for the teaching evaluation until the Coach Evaluator confirms that your lesson plans and emergency action plan have been successfully evaluated.
